The Aftermath

With the devastation of typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, there's no easy way to answer why such things happened, no easier way to feel what our people went through. What do we tell those who suffered? We ourselves ask WHY! Sometimes it's better to say nothing and instead, listen. Simply listen. Let them talk. Let them scream, shout, cry! Let things be. No one knows more what they went through. What can we say? We know nothing of what they've experienced. We can describe what we see, feel, cry as much as we can, but never beyond what they've been through... Never.

Yes, we can help. Help them with their immediate needs, their basic needs. Help them rebuild their lives in any way we can. And let them know that. And someday in the future, someday, maybe, we might all be able to see the bigger picture and understand why such things happen and be transformed.

Meanwhile, all we can say is, please, don't give up. Your spirit is stronger than what you've been through and going through right now. Keep your Faith. We're here to help. Our thoughts and prayers for you all. We love you all. God bless you. BE STRONG. BE STRONG.
