Time Off

It's not often that Norman and I have the same day off so when we do, we try to spend quality time together. Today, we had lunch at the best Chinese dimsum in town, Yank Sing, where we and his brother and wife went to a month ago after our Alaska cruise, remember. Then we visited my late mother-in-law's best friend, Eve, and ran errands with her. She lives by herself so Norman takes time when he's off to bring her around for her needs and pleasure. Then Norman and I continued on to the Ferry Building and enjoyed the rest of the day there, taking our time with an afternoon snack from Miette Pastry Shop and Blue Bottle Coffee while watching the ferry boats come and go on rush hour.

San Francisco is such a beautiful city and we're so lucky to live here!

A simple relaxing day... Grateful!
