Pictures,videos, breaking news... it's HOLLYWOOD!
Fashion, love, relationships, confessions...
Yeah, confessions! Did Jodie Foster really say she was gay? My tv went dead at that most crucial moment after she said," I am single..." What'd she say next?
On the other hand, that's the price of being a celebrity, a public figure, or anybody, for that matter. Privacy?! It's the thing of the past! You search any name and Google finds it. You can be on youtube even without trying. On FB, and who is not, and you're tagged everywhere! Someone "shares" your photos on the internet, even those which shouldn't be there!
I feel compassion for Jodie Foster, Anderson Cooper, and all others who come out of the closet and admit they're gay. Why, why do they have to say anything? Do they owe it to the world to tell the truth about their sexualities? They can tell their closest friends, their families, if they choose to, but the whole world, they owe nothing! They owe it to themselves to keep their privacy! But yeah, sad, sad to say, privacy is history.
It's a different story with the likes of Lance Armstrong and others in sports, for example, who should admit to taking drugs "to WIN!". That's downright cheating! That's unacceptable! On the other hand, to those who have admitted, I give them respect 'cause it takes a lot of courage to do that... "And truth will set you free."
But sexuality, what's wrong with that? You're entitled to who you are, what you are, how you are - to be yourself! But if coming out will be such a big relief, so they can move on with their lives, I admire and respect them all for that. It must be a hard decision to make. I bet Jodie Foster was utterly nervous and anxious for the entire evening of the Golden Globe Awards just waiting for her name to be called for the Cecile B. DeMille Award. Hats off to her!

To Jodie Foster, 50 more years!
